WWE WrestleMania 33 Predictions

WWE WrestleMania 33 Betting Tips Explained

Bray Wyatt finally got his hands on the WWE Championship when he dethroned John Cena at the ‘Elimination Chamber’ event in February and a couple of nights later the leader of the ‘Cenation’ reportedly insisted on putting over the ‘Eater of Worlds’ in a triple threat match on ‘Smackdown Live’. That set up a showdown with ‘Royal Rumble’ winner Randy Orton at WrestleMania and while the bookmakers are predicting success for ‘The Viper’, I am backing Wyatt to leave Orlando as the WWE Champion. He remains one of the most popular stars on the ‘Smackdown Live’ roster and after Cena’s short reign between the Rumble and ‘Elimination Chamber’, I cannot see a second title change occurring in the space of a couple of months. The fact Cena put him over in that ‘Smackdown Live’ match only strengthens my belief that Wyatt will enjoy a decent run with the gold too. There will probably be some shenanigans, but Wyatt will leave as champion and if the match is late enough on the card (the event is in an outdoor stadium) we could see the spectacular site of 70,000 ‘fireflies’ celebrating his success.

British star Neville is finally making his WrestleMania debut after an injury kept him out of last year’s huge event in Dallas, and his opponent in the WWE Cruiserweight Championship is another newcomer to the biggest show in wrestling, Austin Aries. Having spent years on the independent scene and working for TNA, Aries delighted fans when he finally jumped to WWE just over a year ago and after year-long stint in NXT he is now up on the main roster. ‘Double A’ will undoubtedly hold the cruiserweight title at some point, but Neville has been rejuvenated since turning heel (bad guy) and declaring himself the ‘King of the Cruiserweights’, and there is still mileage in his reign. I expect Neville to leave with the belt, but Aries will certainly make an impact in his WWE PPV debut.
