WWE Hell In A Cell betting tips: 'Viper' Randy Orton to strike & beat Jeff Hardy in PPV return

Randy Orton underwent a much-needed heel turn in late July and since that date he has been locked in a feud with Jeff Hardy that is set to conclude in a Hell In A Cell match between the pair. This will be Orton’s first PPV since returning from injury and it really does make no sense for ‘The Viper’ to lose this match. The storyline that has him taking out the fans’ favourites has plenty of mileage, especially with AJ Styles sitting top of the tree on Smackdown, so the chances are we will probably see Hardy take a trademark – and possibly unnecessary – risk that backfires and allows Orton to pick up the victory.

Becky Lynch appeared poised for a big win at SummerSlam last month, but instead the WWE decided to stick the women’s title back on Charlotte Flair and turn Lynch in the process. The fans ignored the script by cheering the ‘Lass Kicker’ as she turned on Flair and despite the company’s best attempts, it feels like the fans are firmly in the corner of the over-looked Irish star no matter what she does to the champion. However, this storyline is unlikely to end after just one match between the pair and maybe, just maybe, the WWE are planning on giving Lynch her much-deserved moment in the historic all-women’s PPV next month. I hope so, but for now there will be more disappointment for her and her fans.

It is the battle of the ‘Days’ with Rusev & Aiden English getting their shot at the Smackdown tag team titles, but can they leave as champions? It has been baffling to see Rusev become so popular over the past year or so only for WWE to seemingly ignore the fans, but this is the perfect opportunity for them to finally give the fans what they want. However, as we have seen with the Roman Reigns push, WWE will do what WWE wants to do and for some reason they do not seem to hold Rusev in high regard. The New Day, of course, have been making WWE a great deal of money over the past couple of years and having upset the Bludgeon Brothers at SummerSlam, it would be a surprise to see Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods drop the tag titles in their first defence. Therefore I am backing The New Day for the win.
