Fury to win WWE debut bout? Get WWE Crown Jewel betting tips

Braun Strowman and Tyson Fury (credit:Larry Burton/Zuma Press/PA Images)

WWE Crown Jewel predictions for Thursday, October 31. Will former world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury be victorious in his WWE debut against Braun Strowman, and will Cain Velsasquez come out on top when he faces Brock Lesnar in a battle of former UFC heavyweight champions? Read on for all of our free WWE Crown Jewel predictions & betting tips.

Braun Strowman v Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury’s cross over into the world of professional wrestling has certainly grabbed the attention of the sporting and entertainment world. He is not the first boxer to cross over into wrestling – the likes of Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, Floyd Mayweather Jr and Ricky Hatton have all done it – and the former world heavyweight champion is probably right at home in this environment with his brash and confident persona. Fury has not looked out of place since his initial ‘bust-up’ with the massive Braun Strowman and the attention he has garnered both the company and himself has so far justified the massive payday that the boxer is reportedly receiving for this, but will this all result in him being victorious in Saudi Arabia? WWE at one time had something in Strowman, but some woeful booking really hurt his momentum and the company is unlikely to see a loss to Fury as being particularly damaging. Fury, on the other hand, is surely not going to want to cross over into the world of ‘fake’ fighting and lose a match. Therefore you have to expect the boxer to topple Braun.

Brock Lesnar v Cain Velasquez

WWE’s debut broadcast on FOX concluded in shocking fashion when former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez made his debut. Velasquez had impressed wrestling fans during a couple of matches in Mexico recently, and those performances were seemingly enough to persuade WWE to ink him to a lucrative, multi-year contract. His first pay-per-view appearances will come on this controversial show in Saudi Arabia and it will come against the man who he won the UFC title from several years ago, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has been WWE’s big box office star in recent years despite being a part-time performer, and for that reason I fully expect him to leave Saudi still the WWE champion. However, surely they will not want to have Velasquez lose his first match with the company, so I expect to see a little creative booking that sees the newcomer come out on top and Lesnar hold onto his belt, maybe via a disqualification or count out finish.
