Piers Morgan 4/1 to appear on Strictly Come Dancing this year

Bookmaker Ladbrokes has gone 4/1 about Piers Morgan being part of the line-up for Strictly Come Dancing 2018 after the television presenter hinted at an appearance during a Good Morning Britain broadcast.

Morgan and BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker have been feuding online and in the media for several months now and the former took things to a new level recently when he challenged his BBC rival to go head-to-head with him on the Strictly dancefloor later this year.

Lord Sugar – who constantly exchanges jibs with Morgan due to the Tottenham Hotspur/Arsenal rivalry – then waded into the situation on Twitter by pledging to donate money to charity if the GMB host did sign on for Strictly 2018.

“I would pay £25k to charity to see this plonker in tight pants dancing and another £25k if he makes it past the first 5 weeks,” Sugar tweeted. “He is as agile as a pregnant donkey.”

Morgan, of course, replied with a shot of his own, but he then took the Strictly speculation further on Monday morning when he danced with professional dancer Anton Du Beke during a Good Morning Britain broadcast and later tweeted “I’ve got my partner”.

So will Piers be strutting his stuff on the Strictly dancefloor when the show returns to our screens this Autumn? Bookmaker Ladbrokes is 4/1 that Morgan is part of the official line-up.
