Bookmaker William Hill is just 2/1 about an Oasis reunion taking place in 2018 after Liam and Noel Gallagher appeared to bring an end to their war of words in the run-up to Christmas.

The Gallagher brothers have not held back in taking pot shots at each other since the ban split up in 2009, but fans are hoping the pair could finally share the same stage once again after Liam tweeted out Christmas greetings to Noel on Wednesday night.

“I wanna say Happy Xmas to team NG,” he wrote. “it's been a great year thanks for everything looking forward to seeing you tmorrow AS YOU WERE LG x."

Liam later replied to a fan’s tweet by saying that Noel had reached out to him and added that the pair are “all good again”.

So with a truce called, could Oasis step back on stage in 2018?

Bookmaker William Hill is now 2/1 that any iteration of the Manchester band (including both Noel and Liam) reunite to play a festival show or a gig in the United Kingdom next year.

“Every year, there is chat about Oasis getting back together but every year, it is swatted away,” William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly told Bettingpro.com.
“However, with a thawing in their frosty relationship 2018 could be the year.”

Latest William Hill odds:

2/1 Any iteration of Oasis (including Noel and Liam Gallagher) to play a show or festival in 2018
