Dr Alex and Alexandra drift to 100/1 to be Love Island’s winning couple with Dani and Jack still favourites

Dr Alex and Alexandra drift to 100/1 to be Love Island’s winning couple

It was a night of high drama in the villa as another relationship was consigned to history. Dr Alex George and Alexandra Crane had an outside chance of winning the competition as the finale draws near but, after the Thursday’s goings-on, it seems near impossible that they will achieve this.

Dr Alex decided that enough was enough with Alexandra, as he claimed he was no longer feeling their relationship. This came after a speed-date in a Ferrari which had prompted Alexandra to talk about their future once the reality show had ended. However, Alex was clearly more keen on the supercar rather than his partner, with their relationship biting the dust.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom in the villa though, with Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer’s relationship taken to the next level. The pair, who are 1/10 favourites to end the series as the winning couple, went on a romantic hot air balloon ride, with Jack eventually asking Dani to move in with him, to which she agreed.

This step up in their relationship has only seen their odds of winning the competition strengthen, with the closest pair to them being Paul Knows and Laura Anderson, who are 12/1 with BetFred.

It seems as though the winning couple for this series of Love Island is a foregone conclusion, with Dr Alex’s move ensuring Jack and Dani have even less competition for the crown than they might have. Friday evening’s edition of the show saw very little of note happen, which has only intensified the theory that Jack and Dani will win, with something big needing to happen to turn around what has become a one-horse race.

BetFred - Love Island Winning Couple odds:

Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer - 1/10

Paul Knops and Laura Anderson - 12/1

Wes Nelson and Megan Barton-Hanson - 14/1

Josh Denzel and Kazimir Crossley - 18/1

Alex George and Alexandra Cane - 100/1
