KFC odds-on to resume normal service this weekend after delivery fowl-up sparks #KFCCrisis

It has been an embarrassing week for fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken, but bookmaker William Hill believe it could end on a positive note.

Two thirds of KFC’s UK-based restaurants were either forced to close for offer a reduced menu and shorter hours this week, after “teething problems” with a new delivery company resulted in incomplete and delayed deliveries of chicken to branches across the country.

One potential customer’s televised complaint that she “had to go to Burger King” has gone viral, and police forces around the UK have been forced to tell KFC customers not to contact them due to the ‘KFC Crisis’.

But if William Hill is correct, the crisis could soon be coming to an end.

While the bookmaker is 5/6 that not every KFC restaurant is open by the end of Saturday February 24, it is also 5/6 that customers across the country will be able to get their chicken fix once again before the close of business on that day.

“The KFC website says the ‘Colonel is working on it’ but despite this it is the bottom line rather than the chicken that is currently taking a battering,” William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly told Bettingpro.com.
“The odds suggest that we will see plenty of chicken winging it to the closed restaurants and fingers will remain unlicked no more, come the weekend.”

Latest William Hill Odds:

KFC to announce that all stores are open as usual by the end of Saturday 24th February: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no
