How to bet on Premier League Darts

Betting on Premier League Darts could not be simpler, with a wide range of pre-match, outright and in-play markets at your fingertips via the majority of leading sports bookmakers.

To place a bet on Premier League Darts, simply go to the home page of your chosen bookmaker on either the desktop site or mobile app and head to the A-Z sports menu.

From there, select Darts > Premier League and locate the match or market you wish place a bet on. Single bets for outright winner, match coupons for accumulators and in-play markets are then listed on the interface. Compile your bet by clicking on the odds which will then add it to your betslip.

On the betslip, you can then key in your stake and the type of bet you wish to place, for example, singles, multiples or each-way. Once your bet has been placed, keep an eye out for the cash-out option while your bets are still open, which is offered by most of the leading firms.

Unibet Masters betting markets

Typically, the top bookmakers for darts such as Unibet and William Hill can offer up to 50 pre-match markets on major tournament matches and even more in-play.

Under the Premier League format, there are three possible outcomes in matches: Player A win or Player B win or draw and there are a number of other popular markets when it comes to this particular tournament.

The correct score market allows punters to back a specific score, while the total legs market is also well-backed in a case of closely-matched fixtures, whereby punters are not relying on a specific player to win, just the score to amount to a total number of legs above or below the cut-off tally.

Most 180s bets are perhaps the second most popular market among darts backers, while some firms may even offer 180 handicaps on some of the most prolific maximum hitters such as Daryl Gurney, Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson.

More notable pre-match markets include legs handicaps, whereby a virtual advantage or disadvantage to either player is awarded in order to even the field, for example a +2.5 handicap bet would be for Player A or B to win the match if 2.5 legs were to be added to their final tally.

Other typical pre-match markets offered by the majority of leading bookies include highest checkout (backing which player will register the highest finish) and nine-dart finish - whether one or more players will hit a perfect leg, for which odds as long as 100/1 can be snapped up.

A host of bookies also offer what is known as a 'king of the oche' bet, which is effectively a treble offering appealing odds for a player to win the match, hit the most 180s and the highest checkout.
