Can England claim a 4-0 series win over Pakistan, or will the touring side pick up a huge win to boost their confidence ahead of the World Cup at the end of May? Get BettingPro's best bets for the final ODI between England and Pakistan.

Of all of the batsmen in the England team at the moment, we have been most impressed by the consistency of Jonny Bairstow. Scores of 51 and 128 have displayed his awesome ability to just get runs no matter what the wicket or the opposition bowlers are doing. Joe Root may be yet to set the world alight this summer, but England’s Test captain has been steadily consistent with scores of 40, 43 and 36 which means he has continually managed to get himself in with the bat without going on to make a fifty, and we feel he will almost definitely go past the half-century mark in the final game after continually threatening to do so. Bairstow meanwhile was rested for the 4th ODI, and he will want to return and show England why James Vince’s 43 was good, but it’s not as powerful as he would have been had he have started the match instead. With this in mind, we think backing Bairstow and Root to score 100+ runs in the game is a bet that will likely come off.

Our second bet revolves around the four openers continuing their fine form in this series. As mentioned, Bairstow has shone this year with 179 runs in his two innings, while Jason Roy (87, 76 and 114) has also been incredibly good with bat in hand. While Pakistan are facing a defeat to nil in this series, their openers should hold their heads up high as they have impressed massively too. Imam-ul-Haq has notched scores of 35, 151, and 6 not out after retiring hurt, while Fakhar Zaman boasts scores of 138, 2 and 57 in a tour that will have done their confidence a huge amount of good. The form of the four is something that all cricket lovers have been admiring of late, and they will look to continue this run going into the World Cup which starts in a matter of days. With this in mind, we are backing the four batsmen to hit a combined score of over 199 runs in the final ODI.
