Find out how to bet £10 and get £30 in free bets with bookmaker BetFred when you bet on the Ashes.
With the third Ashes Test beginning on Thursday we are at it again this week as we look to make the most out of BetFred’s Bet £10 Get £30 offer as we look to give you the best possible bets if you split your £30 reward into three £10 bets.

After Jofra Archer blew the 2019 Ashes wide open there has been a lot of confidence in England getting back into the series as Australia have stumbled, with their best batsman and player Steve Smith ruled out of the crunch third Test starting on Thursday.

With Smith out it has blown the betting for top Australian batsman wide open, but we are no looking to bet on the Aussies. Instead, we are looking to back the men in form with BetFred, with England looking like the more likely to grab this Ashes series by the scruff of the neck.

How to claim this Ashes offer

  1. Visit the BetFred website via our link
  2. Open a new account and deposit
  3. Place your first bet of £10 on sports at odds of 1/1 or greater
  4. Receive £30 in free bets within 48 hours of settling your first bet

With this in mind, we have provided our three best bets for you to utilise your £30 free bet on in the 3rd Ashes Test.

Bet One - Man of the Match - Jofra Archer

Jofra Archer looked superb in his Test debut against Australia as he provided an incredibly vicious and quick point of attack for England in what became a real classic Test match. Archer took five wickets in the match and looked very dangerous with the ball in hand with rockets of over 90mph flying down the wicket. Indeed, such was the danger he provided with the ball, Steve Smith was ruled out of the third Test after being struck by a bouncer from the youngster as the two battled it out in one of the great battles between bat and ball. In the third Test we think Archer will come out fired up yet again, and he will want the wickets to tumble with England in desperate need of a win as they still find themselves 1-0 down in the series despite their much-improved performance in the second Test.

Bet Two - Top England Batsman - Ben Stokes

Bar Jofra Archer, there was one other man that really stood up to be counted in the second Test and that was Ben Stokes. The all-rounder continued to show his pedigree with the bat as he took England from the brink of defeat early on day four to a potentially winning position with his century. His score of 115 not out saw Stokes names as the man of the match as he notched the highest score in the match. While Stokes does come in to bat quite low down in the batting-order, he is proving that he is a player that can soak up the pressure before accelerating and scoring runs with ease once he has taken the wind out of the sails of the opposition. With this in mind, we feel Stokes is the man to back to top score with the bat for England, with the all-rounder proving more and more that his batting is his premier quality.

Bet Three - Match Winner - England

England simply have to win this one if they want to reclaim the Ashes. With only two Tests left to go after this one, a loss would see Australia retain the Ashes as the current holders, while another draw would mean England have to win the final two Tests, something we feel they will struggle to do against the Australians. After the second Test though, England are in the ascendancy. Archer and Stokes were superb in that game and the rest of the team will want to really step up after struggling to really support the two. In conjunction with this comes the fact Smith is out, meaning Australia will have to look elsewhere for their runs after leaning heavily on the exploits of their former-captain last time out.
