Our expert shows punters how they can make up to £300 betting on the Cheltenham Festival when they sign up to BetVictor’s Jump Starter special offer.

How to claim BetVictor’s Jump Starter offer for the Cheltenham Festival:
  1. Open an account with BetVictor and make your first deposit
  2. Place a £10 bet on any BetVictor Sportsbook market (odds 2.0 or greater) between now and the Festival
  3. Receive £60 in special bonuses for Cheltenham!

Once you have opened your new BetVictor account and placed your first bet, you will receive these fantastic bonuses to be used during the Cheltenham Festival.

  • £10 bonus on any Cheltenham market
  • £10 bonus on any Lengthen The Odds market
  • £10 bonus on any Cheltenham #PriceItUp market
  • £10 bonus on any Cheltenham Gold Cup market
  • £10 bonus on any sportsbook market
  • £10 bonus for Casino (which is subject to wagering requirements)

Now, we can’t help you decided which number to cover on the roulette table when you use your £10 Casino bonus (16 is a personal favourite) but we can give you a few pointers where your other free bets are concerned. Here’s how you could make up £300 with BetVictor’s Jump Starter offer

Bet 1

Once you have opened your new BetVictor account, you need to place a £10 bet to qualify for the Jump Start offer. Head to the Close Brothers’ market on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival and put your faith in Nicky Henderson’s Rather Be.

Last year’s Alder Hey Handicap winner has gone to post carrying an odds-on price during all three of his starts over fences. A burst blood vessel meant he failed to complete the course on his second start, but Rather Be looked rather impressive on his other two starts in Class Three company, claiming victory by an accumulative margin of 36 lengths.

Such was the level of competition he was up against in those races, Rather Be remains on the same 143 rating he started the season. He was badly hampered by a faller at just the first hurdle in the Martin Pipe last year and had to be pulled up. Nicky Henderson will be hoping for a bit more luck as Rather Be takes his chance in the Close Brothers.

Bet 2 – Any Cheltenham Market

After finishing third on her reappearance, MS PARFOIS claimed a fanstic victory here at Cheltenham, holding off Theatre Territory to win by a length. Following that win, Honeyball stepped Ms Parfois up to three miles and the mares has never looked back, recording two further victories. A runner-up finish to Black Corton in Grade Two last time out helped her rating reach 146 - some 23 pounds higher than when she started the season.

Ms Parfois boasts winning form here at Cheltenham and has looked progressive all season. Anthony Honeyball’s mare sits at an appealing price for an each-way punt and if Will Biddick can get as sweet a tune out of her as Sean Bowen and Noel Fehily have managed, the National Hunt field better watch out.

Bet 3 – Lengthen The Odds

Getabird has been described in many corners of the sports as a banker to claim victory in the first race of the 2018 Cheltenham Festival. Willie Mullins has watch his charge record two straight victories over hurdle this season, with his most recent triumph coming over a quality field in the Grade Two Moscow Flyer, where Getabird secured a ten length victory without breaking a sweat.

BetVictor’s innovative “Lengthen the odds” feature is perfect for use on Getabird. Lengthen The Odds by backing your horse to win by at least a certain distance.
There are multiple distance markets to choose from and every horse has a price in each. The further it wins, the bigger the odds!

Bet 4 - #PriceItUpMarket

Cause Of Causes will be looking to make history when he returns to the Cheltenham Festival in a few days time. Gordon Elliott's charge produced a fantastic display to win the Cross Country Chase last season - his third successful trip to the Festival in succession.

Looking to follow in Cause Of Cause's footsteps is Tiger Roll, who claimed his second Cheltenham Festival crown 12 months ago when powering to a tremendous victory in the National Hunt Chase.

Bless The Wings will join his two stablemates in the Cross Country and is perfectly capable of finding his way into the place, just like he did when finishing second to Cause Of Cause last year. Head to BetVictor’s Racing Home Page, select the “#PriceItUp (Chelt)” market and scroll down the offer titled “Gordon Elliott Trained 1-2 in Cross Country Chase”.

Bet 5 – Gold Cup

Might Bite has to prove stamina over the extra quarter-mile, while there is always a risk that the quirks which saw him almost throw away the RSA Chase twelve months ago may resurface. The most solid option then, assuming this doesn’t come too soon, looks to lie with NATIVE RIVER who made a very pleasing return to action following a break when beating Cloudy Dream to win a second Denman Chase.

Colin Tizzard’s charge finished third in the Gold Cup twelve months ago, where the combination of a relatively busy season and the quicker ground may just have taken the edge off the Indian River gelding.

He arrives here much fresher than twelve months ago, and so long as the ground doesn’t dry out considerably then he ought to post another big effort. He is a horse who doesn’t know when he is beaten, and he looks solid each-way material in what looks a pretty open renewal, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him firmly in the mix once again.

Bet 6 – Any Sportsbook Market

Samcro is trained by Gordon Elliott, and the Germany gelding has been a hugely impressive performer in his starts thus far. However, it is slightly questionable what he has beaten in Ireland, and for all he looks the real deal, he will need to prove it at Cheltenham where ON THE BLIND SIDE can put a dent in Samcro’s reputation by beating the Irish star.

Nicky Henderson last won this race with Simonsig in 2012, and the Seven Barrows maestro looks to have solid claims of ending his losing run in the race with the Stowaway gelding who has impressed with his three starts over hurdles this term. Also a winner of a point-to-point, he struck on his hurdles debut at Aintree prior to lowering the colours of the smart Momella when thrust into the Hyde Novices’ Hurdle on his next outing.

He had looked in trouble in that race, finding the pace mid-race too hot before coming with a wet sail approaching and jumping the last to power clear up the hill and winning with something in hand over Dan Skelton’s charge who has won since. A Sandown victory followed in the Winter Novices’ Hurdle, where he was impressive in beating Springtown Lake and he readily pulled clear of his field to win comfortably.

Like Samcro, he is open to considerable improvement and a strongly-run race will suit. He can give the Irish star plenty to think about, and no surprise to see him going close.

If all of these bets were to win, then you would be looking at a return of at least £305, depending on how far Getabird wins by in the “Lengthen The Odds” market. If Ms Parfois was only to place, your return would drop by £40, but £265 is still a fantastic return from a measly £10 investment!
