Three-in-a-row for Golden State Warriors? Bookies cast their NBA title vote!

The Golden State Warriors remain odds on to win the 2018/19 NBA Finals after they ended a five-game road trip by avenging an early-season defeat at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Warriors slumped to a 134-11 defeat when they hosted the Bucks a month ago, but they were in no mood to mess around on Friday night as they took a first-quarter lead and never looked back en route to a 105-95 victory.

Kevin Durant struggled with his shooting as went 3-14 for 11 points, but he led the way for his team when it came to picking up the scraps, notching eight rebounds, while team-mates Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each put up 20 points to counter another impressive display from Milwaukee’s Gianni Antetokounmpo, who led his team with 22 points, five assists and 15 rebounds.

Golden State’s victory was the perfect end to a road trip that had seen them start 0-2 on their travels before reeling off three straight wins, and although they have lost nine times in 27 games so far the bookmakers are still struggling to look past Curry & Co. when it comes to who will win this season’s NBA Championship.

Bookmaker bet365 is so confident about the Warriors winning a third straight title that they are -175 about the Californian franchise being crowned world champions while offering +125 that any other team in the league denies them the title.

Golden State are also -175 favourites in the outright market, with the Toronto Raptors believed to be their main rivals at +800 after they slipped to a 106-105 overtime defeat against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.

The Boston Celtics are next up at +1000 ahead of the +1400 Houston Rockets, while the Los Angeles Lakers are now considered +1800 shots after they fell to a 133-120 defeat to the San Antonio Spurs, ending a four=match win streak.

The Milwaukee Bucks are next up at +2200 after their loss to the Warriors, while the Oklahoma City Thunder join them on that price as the only other team shorter than +3500 after they suffered a surprise defeat at the hands of the Chicago Bulls and new coach Jim Boylen.
