Only four teams remain in the NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament and Villanova is the favorite among the major bookmakers to win the championship at the Alamodome on Monday.

The top-ranked Wildcats rolled past Radford (87-61), Alabama (81-58), West Virginia (90-78) and Texas Tech (71-59) to rule the East Region bracket in Boston. They are playing in their second Final Four in three seasons and their last appearance here in 2016 eventually resulted in the school winning its second national title. Villanova's top scorers are East Region MVP Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges, who were both part of the 2016 champion squad as freshmen. The prolific duo will get help from Donte DiVincenzo, Omari Spellman and fellow junior Eric Paschall in their semifinal match-up against fellow top seed and Midwest Region champion Kansas.

Michigan is the second favorite to win its second NCAA crown and first since 1989. The third-ranked Wolverines reached the Final Four by disposing of Montana (61-47), Houston (64-63), Texas A&M (99-72) and Florida State (58-54). They are determined to return to the national championship game since falling short against Louisville in 2013. Leading the Wolverines in their title quest are Moritz Wagner, Charles Matthews, Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman and Duncan Robinson.

Kansas, featuring seniors Devonte' Graham and Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk plus underclassmen Malik Newman and Udoka Azubuike, is also considered a contender. The Jayhawks defeated Pennsylvania (76-60), Seton Hall (83-79), Clemson (80-76) and Duke (85-81 OT) to rule the Midwest Region in Omaha.

Miracle team Loyola-Chicago, meanwhile, is a heavy underdog to win its first NCAA crown since 1963. The 11th-seeded Ramblers emerged as the surprise champions in the South Region bracket in Atlanta after barely surviving Miami-Florida (64-62), Tennessee (63-62) and Nevada (69-68) before blasting Kansas State 78-62 in the final.
