Golden State Warriors at Portland Trail Blazers (02:00 BST on Sunday) - Western Conference Finals Game 3

The Golden State Warriors head to Portland with the aim of taking a commanding 3-0 lead over the Trail Blazers in the Western Conference finals. The two-time defending champions rallied from a 15-point half-time deficit to secure a 114-111 win in Thursday’s Game 2 at the Oracle Arena. Stephen Curry fired 37 points while Klay Thompson added 24 to lead the Warriors. Curry, who had 36 points in their Game 1 victory, also tallied eight rebounds and eight assists. Draymond Green backed up the Splash Brothers by tallying 16 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks. Head coach Steve Kerr also got quality minutes from bench players Kevon Looney (14 points, 7 rebounds) and Jordan Bell (11 points). Damian Lillard paced Portland with 23 points and 10 assists while backcourt buddy McCollum added 22. Seth Curry contributed 16 points off the bench while Maurice Harkless and Rodney Hood chipped in 12 apiece. Enes Kanter was held to four points after posting 10 points and 16 rebounds in Game 1. The Warriors will again be without Kevin Durant but they have won three in a row sans their top scorer. The Blazers gave the Warriors a scare in Game 2 that’s why we are backing them to triumph at home this time.
