NBA Play-offs betting tips from Bettingpro.com's expert, including the best bets from Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets.

Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors (00:30 BST on Saturday) - Eastern Conference Second Round Game 1

The Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers begin their Eastern Conference semi-final at the Scotiabank Arena. This is the second play-off meeting between the two teams and first since 2001 when the Allen Iverson-led Sixers eliminated the Vince Carter-led Raptors in seven games in the conference semi-finals. Philadelphia went on to reach the finals where they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games. Toronto beat Philadelphia thrice in their four meetings in the regular season. The second-seeded Raptors reached the second round of the play-offs for the fourth consecutive season after disposing of the Orlando Magic four games to one in the first round. They lost the opening game but went on to sweep their succeeding match-ups. Kawhi Leonard and Pascal Siakam are expected to lead Toronto after posting impressive performance in their series against the Magic. Leonard averaged 27.8 points while Siakam put up 22.6 points and a team-best 8.4 rebounds. Head coach Nick Nurse will also count on Kyle Lowry, Norman Powell and big men Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol. The Sixers also needed five games to eliminate the Brooklyn Nets in their first-round duel. They also lost the opener before racking up four consecutive wins. Joel Embiid will lead Philadelphia after averaging team-highs 24.8 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in the first round. Backing up the Cameroonian centre are Tobias Harris, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler. Head coach Brett Brown also expects quality minutes from sharpshooter JJ Redick and big man Boban Marjanovic. We are backing the Raptors to draw first blood in the series.

San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets (03:00 BST on Sunday) - Western Conference First Round Game 7

It’s win or go home for the Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs when they face off at the Pepsi Centre. The Spurs forced a deciding game back to the Mile High City after blasting the Nuggets 120-103 in San Antonio on Thursday night. LaMarcus Aldridge (26 points, 10 rebounds) and DeMar DeRozan (25 points) led the Spurs as they spoiled the monster night of Nikola Jokic. Rudy Gay added 19 points off the bench after being a non-factor in their losses in Game 4 and Game 5. Guards Derrick White (13 points) and Bryn Forbes (12 points) were the other San Antonio players to score in double figures. Jokic finished with 43 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists to pace Denver, who were outscored 30-18 in the final period. Jamal Murray added 16 points and Gary Harris contributed 14. Whoever wins this game will take on the Portland Trail Blazers in the conference semi-finals. The third-ranked Blazers earlier advanced after eliminating the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games in the first round. We expect the Nuggets to triumph in this do-or-die duel.
