NBA betting tips from Bettingpro.com's basketball expert, including the best bets from Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers and Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City Thunder.

Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers (00:00 BST on Thursday)

The Cleveland Cavaliers are determined to do better in Game 2 of their first-round playoff duel against the Indiana Pacers after playing poorly in Sunday's opener. The defending Eastern Conference champions gave up 33 points in the first quarter and trailed by as many as 23 points as they suffered a 98-80 home beating at the hands of the fifth-seeded Pacers. Victor Oladipo led Indiana with 32 points and got ample support from Myles Turner, Bojan Bogdanovic and Lance Stephenson. The loss spoiled the triple-double (24 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists) of LeBron James, who lost an opening game of a first-round series for the first time in his illustrious career. We expect a better performance from the Cavaliers in Game 2 so we are backing them to bounce back.

Utah Jazz at Oklahoma City Thunder (01:05 BST on Thursday)

Getting a 2-0 lead over the Utah Jazz in their first-round playoff series is the goal of the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night. Behind the impressive performances of Paul George (36 points) and Russell Westbrook (29 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists), the Thunder struck the Jazz 116-108 at home on Sunday to take the lead in the best-of-seven series. George made eight three-pointers to set a new franchise record. Super rookie Donovan Mitchell led seven Utah players in double figures with 27 points and 10 rebounds. The 21-year-old guard hurt his toe in the fourth period but is expected to play in Game 2. We expect the Thunder to show the same intensity in Game 2 that's why we are again backing them to win.
