Two qualifiers for the upcoming Rio Olympics will be known today after the conclusion of the Belgrade and Turin legs of the FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

The Belgrade and Turin legs of the FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament draw to a close today with the winner of each tournament advancing to the Rio Olympics.

Host Serbia and Puerto Rico will clash in the final of the Belgrade leg at the Kombank Arena. The Serbians advanced after blasting the Czech Republic 96-72 in yesterday's semifinal while the Puerto Ricans upset Latvia 77-70. Serbia earlier defeated Puerto Rico 87-81 in the group stage. 

Over at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, host Italy and Croatia rematch in the final after posting contrasting wins yesterday. The Italians breezed past Mexico 79-54 while the Croatians survived Greece 66-61. Italy beat Croatia 67-60 in the group phase.  

Meanwhile, the semifinal of the Philippine leg of the FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament will also take place in Pasay City today. 

Canada and New Zealand will face off in the first game at the Mall of Asia Arena to be followed by the showdown between France and Turkey. The Canadians (2-0) swept Group A followed by Turkey (1-1) and Senegal while the French (2-0) ruled Group B after posting wins over New Zealand (1-1) and the Philippines (0-2).

Only the tournament winners will qualify for the Rio Olympics. The three qualifiers will join the United States (2014 FIBA World Cup champion), Brazil (Host), Australia (FIBA Oceania champion), Nigeria (FIBA Africa champion), Venezuela (FIBA Americas champion), Argentina (FIBA Americas runner-up), Spain (FIBA Europe champion), Lithuania (FIBA Europe runner-up) and China (FIBA Asia champion) in the quadrennial tournament.
