This is a rematch of last season's final in Istanbul that was won by Fenerbahce 80-64.
Both teams have 4-2 records but Fenerbahce is coming off back-to-back wins while Olympiacos has dropped two in a row. Fenerbahce cruised to an 80-57 win at Brose Bamberg last week. Five players scored in double figures with Jan Vesely topscoring with 15 points.
Vesely and Luigi Datome will spearhead Fenerbahce's offense along with Brad Wanamaker and former Olympiacos mainstay Kostas Sloukas. Wanamaker had 22 points in their 78-84 defeat at Darussafaka Dogus in the Turkish League last Sunday. Nicolo Melli, James Nunnally and Jason Thompson are also key players for head coach Zeljko Obradovic.
Olympiacos, meanwhile, is determined to recover following defeats against Barcelona (51-73) and Panathinaikos (62-70). Georgios Printezis will again lead the Reds in the absence of long-time star Vassilis Spanoulis.
Nikola Milutinov will help Printezis inside while Hollis Thompson, Janis Strelnieks and Ioannis Papapetrou can also deliver on the hardwood.
Fenerbahce has won two in a row and three of four over Olympiacos. We are backing Fenerbahce to pick up another win over Olympiacos.
