Euroleague Round 11 betting tips from's expert, including the best bets from Zalgiris Kaunas vs Olympiacos Piraeus and Bayern Munich vs Khimki.

Zalgiris Kaunas vs Olympiacos Piraeus (18:00 GMT on Thursday)

This is the first meeting between the two teams since Zalgiris eliminated Olympiacos in last season’s playoffs. The Lithuanian giants won their best-of-five series three games to one to reach the Final Four for the first time since 1999. Zalgiris (4-6) are coming off an 83-78 home win over Milano last week to halt a three-game skid. Brandon Davies powered his way to 27 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lithuanian giants to their maiden victory in Kaunas this season. The American power forward will team up with Nate Wolters and frontcourt partner Aaron White as they aim to extend their winning run over the Reds. Head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius will also count on Antanas Kavaliauskas, Arturas Milaknis and Edgaras Ulanovas. Long-time star Paulius Jankunas remains sidelined with a pelvic muscle injury. Olympiacos (6-4) are upbeat heading into this duel after extending their winning run to three games with a 92-70 home rout of Buducnost in the previous round. Zach LeDay led the onslaught with a career-high 28 points and eight rebounds off the bench. The feat earned him Round 10 MVP honours. While the spotlight is on LeDay, the Reds also boast of old reliables Vassilis Spanoulis, Georgios Printezis and Nikola Milutinov. Nigel Williams-Goss and Janis Strelnieks are the other offensive options for head coach David Blatt. We expect Zalgiris to pull off a close win at home.

Bayern Munich vs Khimki (19:30 GMT on Thursday)

Khimki are enjoying an impressive run despite missing their top scorer and they hope to sustain that this week when they visit Bayern Munich at the Audi Dome. The Russian club have racked up three straight victories to move closer to the playoff zone. They are coming off a 76-68 home win against Panathinaikos last week. Anthony Gill fired 21 points to lead Khimki in the absence of Euroleague top scorer Alexey Shved, who is out for a month with a broken finger. The American forward is again expected to lead the Georgios Bartzokas-mentored club in this match-up along with Tony Crocker and Jordan Mickey. Bayern (4-6), meanwhile, are determined to bounce back after suffering a 95-71 beating at Maccabi Tel Aviv in the previous round. Nihad Djedovic is Bayern’s main offensive threat but the Bosnian star failed to hit double figures in their last three Euroleague games. Luckily, head coach Dejan Radonjic have other scoring options in Derrick Williams, Vladimir Lucic, Devin Booker and Petteri Koponen. Bayern won both meetings against Khimki during the 2015-16 Euroleague season. The German champions also swept their two duels in the Eurocup the following season. While Khimki are the hotter team, they have won only once on the road this season. That’s why we are backing Bayern to triumph in the Bavarian capital.
