Euroleague Round 6 betting tips from Bettingpro.com's expert, including the best bets from Khimki vs Barcelona Lassa and Panathinaikos OPAP Athens vs Olympiacos Piraeus.

Khimki vs Barcelona Lassa (17:00 GMT)

Georgios Bartzokas will face his former team when Khimki battle Barcelona at the Mytishchi Arena. The Greek mentor called the shots for Barcelona in the 2016-17 season before moving to Khimki (4-1) last season. Bartzokas is in high spirits after his team blasted Herbalife Gran Canaria 87-72 at home last week to pick up their first win of the season. Alexey Shved led the Russian side with 24 points and 10 assists. The Russian guard leads the Euroleague in scoring with 25.6 points per game. Expected to help Shved in the offensive chores are Anthony Gill, Tony Crocker and Jordan Mickey. Barcelona (3-2), meanwhile, extended their winning run to three games after crushing Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv 74-58 at home last week. Ante Tomic, Kyle Kuric and Chris Singleton are expected to lead the Spanish giants in this match-up. Head coach Svetislav Pesic will also rely on guards Kevin Pangos and Thomas Heurtel along with Adam Hanga, who made his much-awaited season debut last week after undergoing knee surgery in the offseason. Barcelona won both meetings against Khimki last season but were backing the Russian side to triumph in this contest.

Panathinaikos OPAP Athens vs Olympiacos Piraeus (19:00 GMT)

Greek League rivals Panathinaikos and Olympiacos duel at the Olympic Sports Centre in Athens. This is the first meeting between the two titans since last season’s Greek League finals that was won by the Greens in five games. Panathinaikos (3-2) are coming off a 72-67 victory at Buducnost last week. DeShaun Thomas fired 14 points while Nick Calathes tallied 10 points and nine assists as the Greens secured their first road win of the season. Aside from Thomas and Calathes, head coach Xavi Pascual will also count on Matt Lojeski, Keith Langford, Ioannis Papapetrou and Nikos Pappas. The Greens also boast of  big men James Gist, Stephane Lasme and Kostas Mitoglou. Olympiacos (3-2), meanwhile, are determined to bounce back after suffering a 65-69 loss at CSKA Moscow last week. Long-time superstar Vassilis Spanoulis and Georgios Printezis are expected to lead the Reds in the Greek derby. Head coach David Blatt will also rely on Nikola Milutinov, Nigel Williams-Goss, Zach LeDay and Kostas Papanikolaou. Panathinaikos and Olympiacos traded road wins in their two Euroleague encounters last season. We are backing the Greens to win this all-Greek battle.
