CSKA Moscow vs  Baskonia (18:00 BST on Tuesday) - Play-offs Game 1

The Euroleague play-offs begin on Tuesday with the duel between CSKA Moscow and Baskonia at the Megasport Arena. CSKA finished second to Fenerbahce in the regular season with a 24-6 record. Nando De Colo, Cory Higgins and Will Clyburn are expected to lead the Russian giants, who won their last four games in the regular season. Head coach Dimitrios Itoudis will also count on Othello Hunter and Kyle Hines in their quest to reach the Final Four for the eighth consecutive season. Baskonia are determined to foil CSKA’s bid as the the Final Four will be held in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Spanish club placed seventh in the team standings with a 15-15 record. They actually finished tied with Zalgiris and Olympiacos but had a superior tiebreaker. Vincent Poirier has emerged as the team’s scoring leader in the regular season after Tornike Shengelia and Matt Janning went down with injuries. Shengelia has since returned to boost Baskonia's winning chances in the play-offs. Luca Vildoza, Shavon Shields, Johannes Voigtmann and Darrun Hilliard will also be counted upon by Velimir Perasovic to deliver in the series. CSKA and Baskonia traded home wins in the regular season but the Russian giants have taken six of seven in the series. We expect CSKA to triumph in Game 1.

Fenerbahce Beko vs Zalgiris Kaunas (18:45 BST on Tuesday) - Play-offs Game 1

Fenerbahce are out to continue their impressive form in the play-offs against Zalgiris after topping the regular season. The Turkish giants posted a 25-5 record to finish a full game ahead of CSKA Moscow in the race for the top spot. Kostas Sloukas, Nikola Kalinic and Ali Muhammed will lead Fenerbahce in the series. Multi-titled head coach Zeljko Obradovic will also rely on Luigi Datome, Marko Guduric and Nicolo Melli as they aim to extend their Final Four appearances five consecutive seasons. Jan Vesely is expected to play in Game 1 after missing several games due to an undisclosed injury. Fenerbahce are without injured players Joffrey Lauvergne (ankle) and Tyler Ennis (leg) in Game 1. Zalgiris, meanwhile, barely made it to the play-offs. The Lithuanian giants finished in a triple tie with Baskonia and Olympiacos with 15-15 records but made it through via a superior tiebreaker over the Reds. Brandon Davies and Nate Wolters are the one-two punch of Zalgiris, who are aiming to reach the Final Four for the second consecutive season. Head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius will also count on Aaron White, Marius Grigonis, Arturas Milaknis and Leo Westermann. Fenerbahce won both meetings against Zalgiris in the regular season and have taken four in a row in the series. Fenerbahce also beat Zalgiris 76-67 in last season's Final Four in Belgrade. We again expect the Turkish giants to win Game 1.
