The Los Angeles Dodgers remain the favorites in bet365's outright odds market to win the Major League Baseball World Series with less than a month left in the regular season.

The Dodgers are struggling lately but they still own the best record in the MLB. Featuring a star-studded line-up led by pitchers Clayton Kershaw, Alex Wood and Kenley Jansen and hitters Cody Bellinger, Yasiel Puig, Justin Turner and Corey Seager, the National League West leaders are aiming to win the Fall Classic for the first time since 1988.

Expected to challenge the Dodgers for the World Series crown are American League leaders Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians. The Astros, who boast of Jose Altuve, George Springer, Josh Reddick and Marwin Gonzalez, once held the best record in the league and are poised to win the AL West crown as they are well ahead of the Los Angeles Angels in the division race.

The Indians also enjoy a double-digit game lead over the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central. Other contenders are division leaders Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox and Washington Nationals.
