Tyson Fury v Derek Chisora Boxing Betting Tips
I don’t think anyone actually believed that Tyson Fury would walk away from boxing after he successfully defended his WBC heavyweight title against Dillian Whyte.
The Gypsy King had always said he would retire at the top, but not long after he called out ‘WAR” Chisora. Fury loves to be the centre of attention and threatening to retire before setting up a great domestic fight like this keeps him well and truly in the limelight.
It looked like he would fight Anthony Joshua, but he pulled the plug on that fight after he said AJ had missed the deadline to get the contract signed.
There is no way Fury is going to retire just yet. He is at the top of his game and looks unbeatable at times. Why would he give that up? He has always said that he isn’t motivated by money but is motivated about being the best. He will only retire when he has beaten every fighter possible.
These two first shared a ring back in 2011 when Fury won a unanimous points decision to win the British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion. Fury then forced Chisora to retire in the 10th round in 2014 when he secured the European, WBO International and British title.
I am backing Fury to be too clever and strong for Chisora. “WAR’ is a decent fighter at domestic level, and he put in a good showing in his win over Kubrat Pulev, but he is no match for the Gypsy King.
Fury and Chisora are both different fighters since they last fought, but Fury has improved while Chisora is probably at the same level. I am backing Fury to win this one with a seventh-round stoppage.
Whether or not we will see Fury take on Joshua or Oleksander Usyk remains to be seen, but we have this fight and it should be a thrilling contest.
Tyson Fury v Derek Chisora Boxing Betting Tips: Fighter's Predictions
Tyson Fury: “You’re running, Derek, from the trilogy. You call yourself WAR, you should call yourself chicken. I’ve decided to come back to boxing because I can be the first heavyweight world champion in history to have two trilogies. I’d always say I’d fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career.”
