Nina Hughes v Katie Healy Female Boxing Betting Tips & Predictions
Nina Hughes will be looking to successfully defend her WBA female bantamweight title when she takes on Katie Healy at Wembley Arena on Saturday, June 10.
Hughes – who became world champion in her only fifth professional fight – was supposed to be fighting former champion Shannon Courtenay.
Courtenay pulled out last month citing a knee injury for the reason, meaning Katie Healy will step up to face the 41-year-old.
Hughes won the belt from Jamie Mitchell – who took the strap off Courtenay – in only her fifth professional fight with a unanimous points decision win in Dubai.
Hughes has life experience, she is a secretary and a mother to young children, but she is determined to remain world champion.
Healy only has six fights to her name, and it is a great opportunity for the 25-year-old tom become world champion, but if she takes Hughes lightly she will find herself humbled and embarrassed.
Hughes might not be the most experienced in the ring, but she is scrappy and determined. Back Hughes to get her arm raised after 10 rounds and remain champion of the world.
