Josh Warrington v Luis Alberto Lopez Boxing Offers, Tips & Predictions
Josh Warrington will defend his IBF featherweight title for the first time when he takes on Luis Alberto Lopez at the First Direct Arena in his home city of Leeds.
The IBF title is not really seen as a major title, but that doesn’t bother Warrington. He is a world champion and that’s what he cares about.
The proud Yorkshireman has just one defeat as a professional fighter – against Mauricio Lara in 2021. He has won 31 of his pro fights and heads into this fight on the back of a convincing win.
He stopped Kiko Martinez in the seventh-round back in March to take the strap away from the veteran Spaniard.
He goes up against Mexican Luis Alberto Lopez this weekend. Lopez has a professional record of 28 fights, 26 wins and two defeats.
This will not be Warrington’s toughest fight, and there will be harder assignments down the line.
Warrington always likes to put on a show for his home fans. I am backing him to make light work of Lopez and claim a stoppage win in the third round.
