Jessica McCaskill v Sandy Ryan Female Boxing Betting Tips & Predictions
Sandy Ryan faces the toughest test of her short professional career when she looks to move a step closer to becoming the undisputed female welterweight champion of the world.
McCaskill holds the WBC, IBO and WBA belts after having the IBF belt stripped, while Ryan currently holds the WBO title.
The IBF belt is now held by Natasha Jonas and the winner of this bout will be eager to set up that fight to become undisputed champion.
Ryan has not been fighting long as a professional fighter. She became world champion in her seventh pro fight as she beat Marie Pier Houle for the vacant WBO belt.
She has a pro record of seven fights, six wins and one loss. Despite being champion, she has never met anyone like McCaskill, and I understand her wanting to get to the top as quickly as possible, but I feel this fight is way too early for her.
McCaskill has won 12 of her 15 fights with three defeats. McCaskill has held numerous belts for a reason. She is very dangerous, and I think she will be too good for Ryan.
Ryan is an excellent fighter, but I am not sure that will be enough against McCaskill. I will back this fight to go the 10-round distance, but the American will get her hand raised.
