David Adeleye will be looking to prove he is the future of British heavyweight boxing when he takes on Emir Ahmatovic at York Hall on Friday, June 9.

David Adeleye is only 26 years of age, so he clearly has plenty of time to make a name for himself in the heavyweight division.
Big D is undefeated as a professional fighter. He has won all of his 11 pro bouts with 10 of them coming by way of knockout.
His only victory that didn’t see his opponent stopped was a six-round points triumph over Kamil Sokolowski in 2021. Since then, he has won three by stoppage with his last victory being a fourth round TKO win over fellow Brit Chris Healy.
He takes on 36-year-old German Emir Ahmatovic, and although experience does count for a lot, I cannot see it helping him against Adeleye.
Ahmatovic might be 10 years older than Adeleye, but he has only had two more fights. He has a professional record of 13 fights and one defeat.
The German is a big puncher, but he has not faced anyone with the quality of Adeleye. This will be a 10-round bout. Adeleye has not gone past six rounds in any of his fights, and I do not expect this to go past that mark.
Back Adeleye to win with a third-round stoppage and move a step closer to a world title shot in the future.
