Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Williams will finally get it on at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on Saturday, February 5. Who will come out on top?

It’s safe to say that Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Williams do not like each other.
Yes, they will hug and embrace after the fight because they are both respected fighters, but for 12 rounds they will both be looking for that knockout punch.
The two middleweight rivals will finally trade leather after this bout was postponed twice.
This will be Eubank’s 34th professional fight. He has an impressive record of 21 wins and just two defeats. His two defeats have come against Billy Joe Saunders and George Groves. So there is no embarrassment in losing to these two fighters.
The defeat against Groves was back in February 2018. Since then, he has won five successive fights against JJ McDonagh, James DeGale, Matt Korobov, Marcus Morrison and Wanik Awdijan.
He got his armed raised against Awdijan last October thanks to a fifth-round retirement after the German’s corner decided to get him out of harm’s way.
Liam Williams is no mug. He might not be on the same level as Eubank Jr, but he is capable of causing Eubank Jr a lot of problems.
The Welshman, who will have the majority of fans support at the Motorpoint Arena, has won 21 fights with three defeats and one draw.
Williams has been in the ring alongside Demetrius Andrade and Liam Smith twice, so facing Eubank Jr will not faze him.
He put up an amazing fight in his April 2017 loss to Smith. His corner pulled him out at the end of the ninth round following a double laceration on his right eyelid. Williams was ahead on all three judges scorecards at the time of the stoppage.
Williams got a rematch and lost on points, but he proved he can go toe-to-toe with the best.
I think this will be a thrilling contest. Both men are coached by characters, Eubank Jr has been impressive under the tutelage of legend Roy Jones Jr, while Williams is under the guidance of Eubank’s former trainer Adam Booth.
I am backing Eubank Jr to win this one, but it won’t be an early knockout. If this doesn’t go the distance, then Eubank Jr will claim a late knockout. I expect Williams to be spurred on by the home crowd, so I am saying Eubank Jr to pinch it on points.
