Callum Simpson v Jose De Jesus Macias Boxing Betting Tips
Proud Yorkshireman Callum Simpson has a promising future, and he will be looking to extend his winning run and move a step closer to a genuine world title shot.
The 26-year-old has a professional record of 12-0 with nine of those wins coming by way of knockout. He will fight for the WBA Super Middleweight Continental belt, and he feels that will be a stepping stone for bigger fights in the near future.
His last fight saw him claim a unanimous points decision win over Boris Crichton, which ended a run of nine consecutive stoppage victories.
Simpson is a typical Yorkshireman. He is tough, scrappy and very confident in his own ability. Seriously, keep an eye out for him as he will be a world champion one day.
He should have been fighting Germaine Brown, but the London fighter had to withdraw due to injury. De Jesus Macias was brought in as a replacement and the fight upgraded to include the vacant WBA Super Middleweight Continental title.
De Jesus Macia should not offer that much of a threat to Simpson. He is far more experienced than Simpson, he has won 28 and lost 12 with four draws, but he is not on the Barnsley man’s level.
Simpson will ensure the judges do not get involved. Back him to be on point from the opening bell and have a relatively early night by knocking the Mexican out in the fourth round.
