Amanda Serrano v Erika Cruz Boxing Betting Tips & Predictions

Amanda Serrano has fought in seven different weight divisions since turning professional in 2009, but it looks like she has found her place in the featherweight division.

Serrano has won titles at super featherweight, lightweight, bantamweight, and light welterweight, while she is the current WBC, WBO, IBF, IBO and The Ring featherweight champion.

Serrano has admitted she never thought she would just settle at one weight, but she is done with moving up and down the weights. She will remain at featherweight for the foreseeable future and will only change weights if she does enough to get a rematch with Katie Taylor.

She faced Taylor in April last year and came up short, so she is making sure she is confident and good enough to step back in the ring with Taylor in the near future.

The ‘Real Deal’ has just two defeats on her record, while she has 43 wins and one draw. Her defeat to Taylor has done nothing to hurt her reputation – because she has beaten everyone – but unifying the featherweight division will lift her confidence.

Her opponent – Erika Cruz – only has 16 professional fights under her belt with 15 wins, but she has never faced anyone with the determination and accuracy of Amanda Serrano.

She is the current WBA featherweight champion. She won that belt in 2021 against Jelena Mrdjenovich and has two successful title defences.

I think Serrano will be too much for Cruz. Serrano has made a mockery of the two-minute rounds with 30 KO victories, but I think she will go the distance with Cruz and win a unanimous decision.

Amanda Serrano v Erika Cruz Boxing Betting Tips & Predictions: Fighter's Predictions

Amanda Serrano:God willing all goes well, the only fight I’m going up in weight for after this is the rematch with Katie Taylor. After that, I’m done chasing divisions. I want to stay put at featherweight. It’s where I feel the most comfortable. The only way I’m moving up again is for the Katie Taylor rematch.”
