Tyreek Hill To Score 1st Touchdown
Tyreek Hill slead Tampa Bay with 17 touchdowns over the course of this season and torched this Tampa secondary for three of them back in November. He scored the first touchdown of that matchup and in the last five games in which he has hit paydirt, Hill has scored either the first TD of the game or the Chiefs’ first TD of the game on four occasions. This makes him a hugely appealing First Touchdown Scorer pick here.
Travis Kelce To Score Touchdown Anytime
Travis Kelce remains Patrick Mahomes’ favourite target and it is no surprise given how often he is rewarded for throwing the ball his way. Kelce is in red-hot form right now – his two-TD showing against Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game means he has now scored in each of his last six games, racking up seven TDs in total during that time, and in the 17 games that he has featured in this season, Kelce has failed to find the endzone on just five occasions. One of those came against Tampa in November, but lightning is unlikely to strike twice. Kelce could, and should, score in the Super Bowl for the second season running.
Chiefs -3.5 To Win & +56.5 Total Points
It would be foolish to simply write off Tom Brady and Tampa Bay, but it cannot be ignored just how impressively Kansas City sent Buffalo packing in the AFC Championship Game. They did not need to get out of first gear to beat the Bills and that does not bode well for the Buccaneers. Tampa deserve credit for downing the Packers in Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game, but it was not a complete performance on both sides of the football. Offensively they spluttered in the second half and they cannot afford that if they wish to keep pace with, and better, their KC counterparts. Simply put, the Chiefs are the better team and that will be confirmed after an entertaining game.
