The Paddy Power Gold Cup is a Grade 3 National Hunt horse race in the United Kingdom for five-year-old and above horses. It is run over a distance of 2 miles 4½ furlongs (4,124 metres) on the Old Course at Cheltenham Racecourse in mid November.  It is a major early-season handicap chase, and has been won by many top class horses. There are fifteen fences to be jumped in the race.

Martin Pipe trained seven winners of the race from 1996 to 2005. All except Shooting Light were owned by David Johnson.
