William Hill are taking bets on whether it will snow on Easter Sunday in major UK cities after reports that it could be the coldest April on record
With temperatures set to plummet once more, William Hill are offering odds on whether the UK’s capital cities will see snow on Easter Day. Of the four, Belfast is the most likely with odds of just 8/1 while Edinburgh is 12/1. Cardiff and London look less likely at 16/1 and 20/1 respectively.
It is 8/1 for the record lowest temperature in England, Scotland and Wales to be broken before the end of April – the shortest price ever offered at this late stage of winter.
“We are being warned to expect cold temperatures and with that, there is a chance of snow,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
