But before she can think of that, Sharapova will have to get through an extremely tough battle against the exciting young Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic in the first round. Mladenovic has been playing well recently and certainly has the serve to give the Russian quite a bit to think about.

Azarenka doesn't have too much to concern her in the early stages but she's seeded to face 2011 champion Petra Kvitova in the quarters which could be a fascinating showdown.

Williams is seeded to meet Agnieszka Radwanska in the last four in a repeat of last year's final. Radwanska will be satisfied with her draw and although she could face Li Na in the last eight, the Chinese star's form has been poor over the last month or so.

There are plenty of exciting first round clashes to look forward to with British teenager Laura Robson taking on Maria Kirilenko on Centre Court and although Kirilenko is enjoying the best season of her career, Robson loves the big stage so that one could really go either way.

Jamie Hampton has been making waves over the past month and she opens against fellow American starlet Sloane Stephens while the highly rated Madison Keys takes on Britain's Heather Watson.

Sabine Lisicki stunned Sharapova at Wimbledon last year and she takes on Francesca Schiavone in what should prove to be a highly entertaining opener.
