JenningsBet make it 4/6 that the winner at Celtic Manor makes European side

This year’s Welsh Open takes place at Celtic Manor, and the next time that the famous course will be used after this weekend’s tournament will be when the Ryder Cup comes to town in October.

JenningsBet are offering odds of 4/6 that the winner this week will be returning later this year to represent Europe when they take on the USA, or 5/4 that the Welsh Open winner misses Colin Montgomerie’s cut.

Julian Knight, Jenningsbet.com spokesman told Bettingpro:

"Monty has urged Ryder Cup wannabees to prove they can handle the course and any winner should be a cert for the team."

The firm will once again be offering 1/4 odds on the first 6 places which they do for every European and US Tour event.
