Hull City manager to strengthen squad with temporary transfers
Hull City manager Phil Brown has admitted that he may have to turn to loan signings in the January transfer window, as funds are limited at the KC Stadium.
With Jimmy Bullard out injured for the next 6 weeks, and Seyi Olofinjana and Kamel Ghilas set to miss up to a month, due to the upcoming African Nations Cup, Hull’s squad is currently looking somewhat thin on the ground.
However, with limited funds available for replacements, Hull boss Phil Brown has admitted that he may have to utilise the loan market if he wants to bring in new players in January.
"We have looked at the fixtures and it will be a long six weeks, it could become eight weeks,
"But the January window opens and there may be an opportunity to bring one or two loans in to strengthen the squad.
"I will be talking long and hard with the chairman and the owner with regard the January transfer window."
Hull are currently 16th in the Premiership, yet Brown’s men are 4/7 (Ladbrokes) favourites to be relegated.
