Bristol City are bottom of the Championship and former Cardiff manager has been linked with the vacant post after Keith Millen exits Ashton Gate
In the space of 24 hours, two Championship managers have lost their jobs, with Keith Millen following Steve McClaren out of the proverbial exit door following Bristol City’s poor start to the season.
The Robins are rock bottom of the table and were thrashed 5-0 at Blackpool on Saturday which leaves them with just six points from their opening ten matches, with a solitary win at Leicester the only victory that has been achieved all term.
Millen replaced Steve Coppell just over a year ago and initial results were promising, although many supporters have been calling for his head. The search is now on for a replacement and Dave Jones might be considering whether this position represents a better one than the vacant post at Nottingham Forest.
Several League One managers might also be interested in going up a level, including MK Dons manager Karl Robinson.
