Wrexham hitman Jake Speight says the club have "nine cup finals between now and the end of the season" as they bid for promotion from the Blue Square Bet Premier.
The Red Dragons, who host mid-table Forest Green Rovers on Saturday, currently trail leaders Fleetwood Town by six points but have two games in hand.
And with third-placed Mansfield 15 points behind, all eyes are on the pace-setting duo, who are scheduled to meet in a potential title decider at Highbury Stadium on 10 April.
Speight, for his part, is wary of thinking too far ahead or agonising over the Cod Army's progress.
"It's not something we really talk about as a group," he said in the Daily Post.
"Obviously everyone has got their own opinion on it, but having points in the bag or two games in hand, you'd much rather have the points on the board. But it's just how the results have gone and how games have been called off.
"But it's just one of those things and we just have to stick together and concentrate on our own results.
"The Fleetwood game is four games away and we've got to make sure the games leading up that go right for us and not get caught up in all this Fleetwood talk.
"There is still a long way to go and like I said anything can happen in nine games.
"Everyone is saying the Fleetwood game is the big one, but we went and dropped points at Stockport. The big games take care of themselves, we've got to make sure the other games that are coming up, which don't look as important or against as big a teams, we've got to make sure they come first.
"We've got nine cup finals between now and the end of the season to make sure we get automatic promotion."
