Everton v Norwich City betting tips – Morison worth checking out at crazy 11/4

Everton take on a Norwich side who are full of goals, with Steve Morison having scored five in this last seven games

If you want to back Everton to win this match, then William Hill have a best price of 13/20 available. Naturally, the Toffees might well land three points considering the Norwich defence is far from watertight. 

However, can we really back David Moyes’ men with a huge degree of confidence considering they have won just two of their seven matches at Goodison Park this term?

The recent 1-0 defeat against Stoke saw the home side produce exactly zero shots on target despite dominating possession and they offered little going forward at the Emirates last weekend. 

Defensively, Phil Jagielka and Co are pretty sound, although Louis Saha only has two goals for the season, Tim Cahill has not found the net and Magaye Gueye probably isn’t the answer either.

Therefore, Norwich City are not the worst 5/1 chances we have seen this season and Paddy Power are the bookmaker offering those particular odds. 

The Canaries did manage a win at Bolton in September and last weekend’s 4-2 win over Newcastle means they will be full of beans for the second trip of the season to Merseyside – the first seeing Paul Lambert’s team land a 1-1 draw at Anfield.

Steve Morison arrived at Carrow Road from Millwall during the summer and the Welsh striker is someone that perhaps Everton should have considered. He’s physical, great in the air and currently scoring goals. 

The 11/4 about Morison is stonking value considering he has five in seven, especially as he has found the net against teams like Arsenal and Manchester City recently. 

A 1-0 win for Norwich is available at 16/1 and they will be confident that one goal should be enough to win the game against a side that couldn’t score in a brothel right now.
