Bucks boss raring to go

Bettingpro Staff in Football 11 Apr 2012

AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton is keen to start planning for next season, but says he cannot do so until their league status is confirmed.

The Bucks currently occupy 20th place in the Blue Square Bet Premier standings following a goalless draw with Newport County last week.

They are four points clear of 21st-placed Hayes & Yeading with just a handful of games left in the campaign, and Sinton can't wait to begin reshaping his squad for the 2012/13 campaign.

He told the Shropshire Star: "There are people I have in mind and the sooner we can start planning for next season the better.

"I don't want to wait even two or three weeks after the season.

"As soon as we know what division we are in next season I hope the board will come to me straight away and say 'this is what our budget is' and I can go and do something.

"We are talking to people at the club about contracts.

"The problem is that at the moment we don't know what league we are going to be playing in."

The Bucks face 14th-placed Ebbsfleet United at Stonebridge Road on Saturday afternoon, before playing host to Marcus Law's Tamworth on Tuesday night.
