Atletico Monarcas Morelia and Motagua both go in search of their first victory when they meet in the CONCACAF Champions League on Thursday night.
Mexican side Atletico Monarcas Morelia began their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Alajuelense, and it was a blunder by goalkeeper Federico Villar that proved costly against the Costa Ricans. Morelia had looked on course to at least take a point from the game, but Villar fumbled a free-kick just 13 minutes from time and Jonathan McDonald was on hand to snatch the winner for Alajuelsense.
Honduran side Motagua, meanwhile, were beaten 2-0 by Los Angeles Galaxy in a game that saw them reduced to 10 men. Adam Cristman and Landon Donovan had both already scored before Ivan Guerrero sent off for a reckless challenge on Sean Franklin.
Atletico Monarcas Morelia are 1.22 to register their first victory, with Motagua 12 and the draw 6.00.
