The money comes pouring in for Joachim Loew's team after their outstanding 4-0 win in Cape Town - can they win the World Cup?

Earlier in the week, you could have got 5/2 about Germany winning at the Greenpoint Stadium this weekend, although Die Mannschaft are now shorter than that on the outright market!

Most of us expected an evenly-matched contest between two of the biggest powerhouses in world football, although the Germans were superior all over their field against a much-hyped Argentina team who couldn't defend for toffee.

Such an outstanding performance from Joachim Loew's team have seen their odds to win the World Cup tumble from 6/1 to 2/1 (bet365), with a semi-final match against Spain on Wednesday looking likely.

Germany will certainly take some stopping by the remaining teams in the competition, especially with Miroslav Klose hitting top form for his country yet again and Bastian Schweinsteiger pulling all the strings in midfield. However, this was very much a team performance from a largely young set of players.

Germany are 2/1 (bet365) to win the World Cup.
