Germans 7/2 to be top scoring side in South Africa

Germany have been by far the most impressive side at the 2010 World Cup so far, with their 4-0 victory over Australia the biggest win of the opening matches in the tournament, and Joachim Low’s side are 7/2 with SkyBet to be the top scoring side in South Africa during the competition.

It is 1/12 that any team manages to surpass Germany’s four goal tally in one match, and 6/1 that no side manages five or more in a game.

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds told Bettingpro:

"The Germans looked impressive against Australia and could easily have added to their four goals.

"With Klose, Podolski, Muller and Cacau all looking dangerous in front of goal and progression to at least the last 16 on the cards, you can expect many more goals to come."

Germany are now 9/1 with SkyBet to win the 2010 World Cup
