The firm have ran a ‘penalty payback’ special throughout the 2010 World Cup, where they refund all losing bets on the tournament winner if a side exits on penalties. With Spain and Holland already the biggest losers for Bet365, having to refund bets on either side would result in a monster pay out for the popular firm. Bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth told Bettingpro: "The 2006 World Cup Final ended in a penalty shoot-out and with the liabilities we've built up on both sides, we'll be hoping it doesn't go that far this time around. "Both Spain and Holland have been our two biggest losers for a while now - Spain backers were out in force before the tournament and the Dutch plunge started with their impressive run of results in friendlies pre-South Africa and has continued to grow with every victory." Bet365 will also be running their 'Bore Draw' concession on the game where losing bets on First/Last/Anytime Goalscorers, Correct Score, HT/FT and all Scorecasts markets will be refunded if the game finishes 0-0 after 90 minutes. "So far we've had seven games finish 0-0 and given back well over £1,000,000 - An eighth, and penalties, wouldn't be a great ending to the 2010 World Cup!" added Freeth.
