Both teams were in great form and the first two periods were fairly equal with Serbia leading 8-6 at half-time. After the break Serbia took full control and ended up winning 12-8.The second semi-final was the match of the day with Montenegro beating Hungary. The beginning of the match showed very clear that these countries were evenly matched. The match existed of beautiful goals and excellent attacks. The game ended 12-12 after normal time thanks to a late goal from Montenegro. The first extra time ended in another tie, but in the second extra time Montenegro takes the game with a devastating goal.
