Cryptologic has launched a new Video Poker format for sites like InterCasino.

Cryptologic recently released a video poker variant called Over Poker, which they describe as “ an exciting, patented video poker-style game that gives you more control over the cards and the hands you play."

With Over Poker the goals (getting the best poker hand) have not changed and hand rankings are the same as in traditional poker. In Over Poker with each new card dealt players have one of three options - Hold, Discard or Shift. Shift moves the card up to a higher level, essentially saving the card to play with a different hand. Players can do this repeatedly, but each time they must make a wager and will have to resolve each level or hand they create.

Cryptologic says, "Experienced poker players will love this game and beginners will find it very easy to learn."
