Cro-Cop 5/6 To Return With A TKO Win

UFC 99 brings the return of Mirko “Cro-Cop” Filipovic to the octagon (live on Setanta Sports 1 from 8:00pm). The former Pride Champion makes his return to the UFC after disappointing defeats to Gab Gonzaga and Cheick Kongo the last time he competed. Standing in Cro-Cops way will be Britain’s Mostapha Al-Turk, who has an impressive record in the British cage rage circuit but shouldn’t have anywhere near enough to overcome Filipovic. Sky Bet are offering 5/6 that Cro-Cop beats Al-Turk by TKO/Stoppage and 4/6 the fight is finished inside three rounds.

Topping the bill is a Catchweight 195lb fight between Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva. Both fighters are former world champions in the UFC and Pride and this fight is expected to be an all out brawl. Silva is 6/5 to come out on top (8/13 Franklin & 25/1 Tie) and it’s 5/2 he wins inside the distance.

Several British Fighters feature on the card including Dan Hardy, who is 5/4 to beat Marcus Davis (4/7 Davis & 25/1 Tie) in a grudge match after a war of words between the two and Cheick Kongo (11/10) faces Cain Velasquez (4/6 Velasquez & Tie 22/1) which could probably be the fight of the night in the Heavyweight division.
