Edgar’s strong finish in their second fight has been enough to list him as (1.667) favourite to retain his title once again. The other title fight on the UFC 136 fight card will be yet another attempt for Kenny Florian to finally win a UFC belt. He’s come up short twice in Lightweight title fights and now gets a shot at Jose Aldo’s Featherweight championship. Aldo is considered to be one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world and will be a heavy (1.361) favourite against Florian. Devastating striking combined with a torrid pace have proven to be more than any challenger can take, and there’s no reason to believe Florian’s skills will have any other effect on the champ. If you think Florian has a chance Pinnacle Sports will pay (3.450) for the upset. The highly-anticipated return of Middleweight top contender Chael Sonnen will also be on the UFC 136 fight card. Sonnen steps back into the Octagon for the first time since he came within two minutes of beating champion Anderson Silva for the Middleweight title over a year ago.Sonnen will face fan favourite Brian Stann and will come into the fight as a Pinnacle Sports (1.392) favourite. The Stann upset will pay (3.270), but it’s difficult to envision how Stann could deal with the wrestling and ground-and-pound skills Sonnen will bring. At Welterweight, Joe Lauzon will have a very tough test against KO wrecking machine Melvin Guillard. Guillard is currently on a five-fight win streak and his odds (1.339) suggest that he'll be too much in the stand-up battle for Lauzon to handle. For a Lauzon (3.600) win, he'll have to get the fight to the ground as soon as possible. While he'll have an advantage on the ground, he'll have to pay a price to close the distance enough to even attempt a takedown.
