Roddick v Federer TipsThe dream of seeing a British men's finalist at Wimbledon for the first time in over 70 years has come to an end for another year. Roddick, the Wimbledon finalist in 2004 and 2005 shattered the dreams of the British nation with a resounding serving performance and quite possibly the best performance on his forehand side I have ever witnessed. At just 22 years of age, Murray will no doubt have many more opportunities to break his Grand Slam duck in the future, but for Roddick this could be his last remaining chance to add to his US Open title he won back in 2003. Federer and Roddick know each other's games inside out, they have played 20 times since 2001 and Federer leads the head-to-head series 18-2 with three victories from three matches on grass against the American dropping just one set. The last time Roddick defeated the Swiss master was at last year's Miami Masters Series event 7-6 4-6 6-3. A major upset is therefore not incomprehensible but it's highly unlikely. Roddick is the joint leader with Ivo Karlovic in the men's singles ace leader market on 160, needing just one ace to become the winner. He has hit 83 more aces than Federer. The interesting stat to look at is the fact that, out of the last nine head-to-head matches, Federer has hit more aces than Roddick on six occasions, drawing two. This is therefore where I believe the value is, especially given Federer's short price to win the match.Selections:Back Roger Federer Most Aces @ [1.93 @ Betfair]Back Federer 3-0 @ [1.98 @ Betfair]Back Federer 7-6 @ [4.7 @ Betfair] Set 01 Correct Score Read our Betfair review £20 risk-free bet plus £1000 cashback Like Like Post to wall 1 Reads All Tennis News Recent Tennis Articles 2012 French Open Women’s Tips – Wide open affair at Roland Garros26 May 2012Unlike the men’s singles competition where Rafael Nadal is the clear favourite, the French Open wom WTA Strasbourg Open 2013 dates and live stream26 May 2012The WTA Strasbourg Open will be back in 2013, and you can watch live coverage of it with bet365 WTA Brussels Open 2013 dates and live stream26 May 2012The WTA Brussels Open will be back in 2013, and you can watch live coverage of it with bet365 French Open Betting Latest – Nadal and Serena fancied for Roland Garros glory26 May 2012Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams head the betting going into the 2012 French Open, which gets under French Open Free Bets and Promotions26 May 2012The bookmakers are marking the 2012 French Open with a string of free bet offers and promotions. 2012 French Open Draw – No draw joy for British ace Murray26 May 2012Andy Murray has been distinctly average on clay this year, and being drawn in the same half as Rafa More Stories Recent Articles Carl Froch v Lucian Bute Boxing tips26 May 2012After a nomadic run of big bouts, Carl Froch finally gets to fight in front of his home faithful bu williamhill.com Greyhound Derby Final & the rest of the night's card26 May 2012Whatever his fate with Taylors Sky in the Derby final itself, Charlie Lister can claim a mouth-wate Internationaux de Strasbourg Result - Schiavone triumphant in Strasbourg26 May 2012Francesca Schiavone has completed a superb week in France by beating Alize Cornet in the final of BMW PGA Championship Live Scores – Donald surges into lead26 May 2012Luke Donald took a step closer to becoming world number one again by opening up a two-shot lead in WTA Brussels Results - Radwanska clinches Brussels title26 May 2012Agnieszka Radwanska has won her third title of the season today in Brussels League One Play-off Final Result – Huddersfield promoted after penalty shootout26 May 2012Huddersfield Town earned promotion to the Championship after beating Sheffield United, 8-7 on penal More Stories Tags Andy Roddick, Roger Federer, Wimbledon
