The WTA Shenzhen Longgang Gemdale Open 2013 first round matches will be played on Monday with second seeded Marion Bartoli in action.
After Yung-Jan Chan and Ayumi Morita go head to head in their first round match on Monday, sixth seeded Chinese player Shuai Peng takes on British qualifier Anne Keothavong in another opening round match.
World number 11 Marion Bartoli will be in action in the afternoon session when she takes on Hong Kong’s Wing-Yau Chan. Bartoli, who lost in the first round of the last tournament she played in 2012, at Moscow, will look to start the season on a high in this opener.
Later Japanese qualifier and veteran Kimiko Date-Krumm will play Ying-Ying Duan in their first round match.
Also in action will be eighth seeded Bojana Jovanovski who takes on Alexandra Cadantu, while Klara Zakopalova, seeded fifth will play Andrea Hlavackova in their first round matches.
